{"id":638,"date":"2011-11-30T07:31:55","date_gmt":"2011-11-30T15:31:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nadynerichmond.com\/blog\/?p=638"},"modified":"2011-11-30T11:58:15","modified_gmt":"2011-11-30T19:58:15","slug":"were-hiring-user-experience-professionals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nadynerichmond.com\/blog\/2011\/11\/30\/were-hiring-user-experience-professionals\/","title":{"rendered":"we&#8217;re hiring user experience professionals!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My user experience team has seen phenomenal growth in the year that I&#8217;ve been here at VMware, and the trend is continuing. \u00a0We&#8217;re hiring pretty much across the board. \u00a0A quick search on user experience on our jobs website returns 170 openings as of this writing. \u00a0Not all of those are on my team<sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-638-1' id='fnref-638-1' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(638)'>1<\/a><\/sup>, and there&#8217;s plenty of them which are for UI developers, business analysts, and product management.<\/p>\n<p>My team is especially interested in hiring for the following roles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>administrative assistant &#8211; We need a part-time assistant to help us recruit and schedule usability participants.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.vmware.com\/job\/Palo-Alto-Manager%2C-User-Experience-Design-Job-CA-94301\/1477725\/\">user experience manager<\/a> &#8211; Manage a team of awesome interaction designers who work across many different VMware applications.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.vmware.com\/job\/Palo-Alto-New-College-Graduate-MTS-Interaction-Designer-Desktop-Job-CA-94301\/1496962\/\">interaction designer<\/a> &#8211; Join our team of awesome interaction designers who are working on complex applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But wait, there&#8217;s more!
