{"id":1278,"date":"2013-07-26T11:15:55","date_gmt":"2013-07-26T18:15:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nadynerichmond.com\/blog\/?p=1278"},"modified":"2013-07-26T13:51:59","modified_gmt":"2013-07-26T20:51:59","slug":"happy-sysadmin-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nadynerichmond.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/26\/happy-sysadmin-day\/","title":{"rendered":"happy sysadmin day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I think that it&#8217;s an excellent idea to unilaterally declare that a day is a special day. \u00a0Some sysadmin somewhere in the world apparently agrees with this, and thus today is <a href=\"http:\/\/sysadminday.com\">Sysadmin Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on some of the sysadmins that I know, I think that today will be spent randomly unplugging network cables and drinking heavily<sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-1278-1' id='fnref-1278-1' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(1278)'>1<\/a><\/sup>. \u00a0Also, don&#8217;t forget to turn it off and on again.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5BZcL09b9V4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>(That&#8217;s from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.channel4.com\/programmes\/the-it-crowd\">The IT Crowd<\/a>, which I highly recommend.
