Steve Jobs died today, aged 56.  This isn’t a surprise, but it’s still a shocking loss.  I think Bill Gates has summed it up very well:

The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come.

Goodbye, Steve, and rest in peace.
